The Marcali Kiss artist family

Jozsef Marcali Kiss was a painter and graphic artist. His sister, Zsuzsanna was an opera singer in Debrecen, Hungary and later on in Canada.

Jozsef Marcali Kiss's two daughters, Melitta and Rita Kiss inherited both abilities. For them singing remained only a pastime activity, altough Melitta owes her first watercolour series of gothic and renaissance Italy inspiration to the choir tours.

Rita excels in teaching and talent development. Melitta became a painter, photographer and art teacher. Works of Jozsef and Melitta Marcali Kiss and their students can be found on the following webpages.
